Perils of data protection

Dedicated to searching out the hidden costs of implementing a secure data solution, we bring you "snow storm in the office". Shredding manual files has been a good idea for a long time, and in many situations a very necessary part of Principle 7 compliance in the Data Protection Act. What the Regulatory Impact Assessment (RIA) does not bring out is the potential for hidden costs and frustrations. With the increasing demand for 'working from home options', it's important to understand how a 3 and 5 year old view your secure data destruction policy.
